This is a Red Kite I saw just about to take off in the woodland close to my house. It is called King Midas because it looks like everything he touches turns to gold.

Edit: a touch of saturation

I sincerely believe candid photography relates soleley to capturing an image of a person.

I like the 'frame' of sorts created by the bokeh of the branches. Though it does distract from the subject quite a bit. And though it is 'candid' I'm not sure I get the same sense of 'in the moment' that I do with candid pictures of people. it's a good shot, but it just doesn't speak to me. 6

While it's a very good capture (aside from a little soft on the focus), it doesn't fit the challenge topic, IMO.
