 Taken at Lake LeRoy a small lake that used to be the town Reservoir but is now just a year round playground for thousands of geese. There were in fact several thousand there this morning but these were the best lit by the early sun.

The green grass in the background seems to not belong in a photo of a frozen lake. But I do like the fact that it adds some color... an all snow background would be rather bland.

Nice shot, love the colors, my eyes want to focus on the woods instead of the geese...not sure if thats because of the comp, or the focus itself, 6.
