I didnt get to comment on any shots in this challenge yet and I didnt get to vote on your shot. Now I am sorry because I would have had up with my top ten. The thumbnail doesnt do this shot justice. It really is a great shot. How many photoshop redos before you decided on the legs, beak, eye and faucet as the colored elements? Great work. |

Great shot.
I would have preferred it if you'd also desaturated the bird's feet and the other two taps. |

Beautiful shot. I somehow think that it would have worked better without the bird. I think the blue taps are interesting enough. |

This is a funny shot! The first thing that came to mind was "Mine? Mine? Mine? Mine?" a la Finding Nemo. Great work on capturing the pose. |

Well composed and nice DOF. Your use of desaturation really emphasize the title.....7 |

Excellent! What a great shot! And well done on the color. Probably should have cropped out the flowers on the top. Not sure. Good job. |

One of these shots that you would give your right arm to capture...lucky you.
I can see this being amongst the ribbons....well done |

Wonderful subtle tones kept. One of my favorites!! I don't think I would have ever seen the opportunity and executed it so well!! This is de-sat used as it should be and really shines. |

Why did you leave the feet colored? If you had desaturated the beak and feet it would have been great. Nice try. |

Neat capture. Maybe trim the top to remove the partial plants. |

Interesting choice - I wonder how it would have looked with only one tap in colour? |
