 Taken in Invesco field at Mile High. This was the night before the Raiders / Broncos game. I was lucky to be there thanks to my company (ReadyTalk) having a xmas party there. Was quite an experience to see the massive stadium empty.

It's a shame how much detail was lost in this very sharp image. I wish I could submit the 1600 x 1066 image. I stopped it down to try and get more sharpness, was impressed how well the IS in the lens helped in assisting getting the 1/15sec exposure.

I don't know how well I could have better captured the sight of the entire stadium being so empty. I had wider shots, but they were higher and perspective seemed strange. A wider shot from the ground might have helped, but my lens just could not go wide enough to make it look good.

I'd be interested in seeing the wider shots from above. And yes, an attempt from ground level shooting up a bit would be interesting as well. I do tend to like "wide" - to me it tells more of the story. But it does suffer at DPC sizes. Amazing difference when you view them full screen on your monitor, isn't it?

I like the concept but I want something more. For me here, it feels like a snapshot. No real depth of imagery or story. Being from CO I have a fond place in my heart for the Buggers. But this, I feel does no justice.
