Man this got hosed in voting, this is probably one of my two favs in the challenge. I love the darker edges of this photo with the couple heading towards the light over the hill, symbolic of love in my opinion. Well done!

cinematic look but focus between the couple and "trash" in canyon

A little dark, but it could be my monitor..

Beautiful scene. I appreciate your subtle approach to love, rather than putting it in our face. Favorite of the challenge. The border is a little much for me but I think you are going for a cinematic feel and it works well. It definitely could pass as a still from a film. Good job.

great capture. IMO too much border at the top and bottom. Still an 8

When a border comprises about 50% of the image area, then there is a rules violation, if not in the letter in the spirit.

nice idea behind the shot. Maybe some more fill light on the foreground and the open earth would have improve the shot. The vignette appears to go over the couple as well, so I would have removed it as we want to draw attention to the couple.

Unique and minimalist in a challenge filled with formulae and pets.
Well done for your effort in photography. Perhaps a bit dark to do well on DPC but a great shot nonetheless.

I think the border is too heavy. It only emphasizes how dark the image is. I'd like to bump up the exposure to bring out a little more detail. I do like how the couple fits so well in the scene.

Love the idea but the image is a little dark.
