 Nikon 135mm f/2.8 with a reversed 24mm f/2.8 of a tightly grouped bunch of neck chain beads. Each bead is about 2mm in diameter. I also used one M2 tube between front elements of the 2 lenses. Used 2 macro ring flashes triggered by the D300 as controller.

For submission, merely re-sized the image and saved it for the web.

Definitely some metal balls linked together, but what they are forming is a mystery to me.

Added: I'm going to guess that this is just a metal chain, of the common type you might use to hang something around your neck, or is often used as a pull chain.
