 It's Potpourri.

Did some minor adjustments of WB exposure and brightness in ACR.

In Photoshop:
Autolevels
Duplicate layer and convert to black and white with Channel mixers layer. Blended the duplicate layer and background with soft light
Smart sharpen
Duplicate layer - surface blur at 40% opacity
Crop
resize
sharpen
save

It could be pumpkin seeds. If not that, then it must be one of the things that grows in a sealed container in the back of my fridge.
