 Dried fig horizontal cross section.
Extension tube was used with the 105mm macro lens.
B/W conversion was done in CS3 using the channel mixer/black&white infrared option.

Not too pretty looking all tho - the big white blob in the middle looks like a spiritual dove. The other blobs look like corn lol.

Sharp with black and white conversion done well. The subject seems rather static. I wonder if framing with the light smooth blob more to a corner and on a diagonal would be more interesting visually.

this is going to be some kind of fruit I think...to me I would say it's Strawberry or Raspberry Jam, good clear picture a little flat in tone (IMO)

not sure...but it looks a bit gross to me, lol. fruit of some type w/seeds?
The b&w helps to obscure what the actual item is. very good!
