 It was a day to remember. I praise God for allowing me to take part of such a selfless activity.

It was only my second time to come at Isla Pulo, and during my first visit I met a lot of nice people, happy and joyful kids but I know that everything can be a lot better. I and everyone who was with me on that visit knew that we had to do something to make them feel better.

We organized an outreach activity to help the people of Isla Pulo. It was used to be just amongst the SXP group until Heaven sent Holcim Philippines along with Petron/McDonalds/YP to help us with the endeavor.

The rest was history. For this coming holiday season there are 200-less sad families celebrating Christmas, with ample foods on their table. Happy kids that maybe for the first time in their life, had gifts for Christmas.

PP: Color Adjustments, Cropping via Lightroom. Shadow/Highlights adjustments via ACDSee and re-sized via Photoshop.

I just knew this was the Philippines...very typical of the slums I minister in. Great that you have told the story. Congrats on a great image

A strong picture but it looks like it's been pushed too far for vibrancy making it look unreal5. Lightroom?

The expressions on the faces of these two brothers makes this a superb photograph. While you can tell that these two are not rich in money, they make up for it in with richness of the Heart. Beautifully captured interaction.

Sorry but I think the processing does not match the subject, it is better suited perhaps to glamour models and not poor kids
