This is from a " Buddha's Hand or Fingered Citron" fruit, citus medica var. sarcodactylis. It is bright yellow and has twisting finger-like projections.

Amazing; one thought it was an extreme macro, like even a microphotograph, it has that "look". And yet, it's not. Got a 9 from me, disappointing finish.
