Awesome shot! One of my favorites of the challenge because 1. I can relate to those poor people and 2. its a well composed photograph. I love the DOF, the expression on the girls face and the sea of people on the platform. Well done! |

LOL, love the guy in the background yawning! That and the main subject's priceless expression make this a 110% match for the challenge! |

This is a nice catch. Doesn't look contrived. Nice DOF. She absolutely looks bored and this has context. |

I almost feel that the guy yawning should have been the focal point of the pic, but it still works with the look on her face. |

Great main subject and the yawning secondary subject. Just right to crop along the left hand edge where you did, just letting us see enough of the railway platform and lines whilst keeping the bright sky to a minimum.
Top shot. |

I like the use of dof ... capturing sharp and blurred boredom |

Nice leading lines, maybe it's just me but she doesn't look quite bored... And that guy, the one with the gaping mouth in the background.. She's probably just ignoring him ;). Still, very nice shot. |

This is a fantastic example of street photography, even better that it means the challenge perfectly. The expression on the girls face is perfect, as is the guy yawning in the centre of frame. The one issue I have with the image is that my eye is drawn away from the subject by the curved tracks... I understand the perceived need for them for composition/balance... but IMHO I think it may hurt the image more than it helps... but really, what do I know. Still rank it as one of my top 5 images for the challenge, and think you've done a great job. |
