 There really isn't a lot of urban decay around where I live. Even the thousand year old buildings are kept in pretty good shape. This artwork graces a building that is used by artists and musicians, as far as I can tell. At least I've heard bands playing in there in the past. It also serves as a canvas - the artwork changes from time to time.

The area isn't somewhere I worry about being in the day time, and probably would be OK at night except a good bit of drinking goes on here as seen by the mass quantity of broken glass in the area.

Anyway, it's the closest thing I could find that might be considered "urban decay", though quite tastefully done.

Lightroom preset (raw bleach bypass); slight crop in PS but maintained the original 16:9 ratio; sharpened, added border.

I really like this image though as a collector of urban art, I don't consider it decay. The strength of the composition makes the image for me.....8

Great shot, but the border is a little distracting when it is placed againist the grey wallpaper on the DPC webpage

Sorry, I don't see decay in this shot. I see bitchin' artwork on the side of a rather decent building. No vote, I'm in this one.

Powerful capture, nice pov. I like the stark basic colors and contrast. The image evokes a feeling of a harsh,unforgiving and decaying environment. 7
