 Figures that there should be some beautiful losers down at the tail end of this challenge.
The challenge really did ask for physical or architectonic urban decay, but I'm a little surprised that (nearly) nobody went to the effect of urbanisation on humanity.
You may have spotted that these people are actually cats. There's a little hint in the shoehorning title about that.
Size discrepancy is not of itself perverse but it usually manages to 'look wrong'.
So it's a grainy, grungy shot of a couple that shouldn't be a couple on an unmade bed in a low-grade appartment.
I'm so proud.

LOL!! Half the fun of some of these challenges is reading the photog's notes afterwards. This is quite the sordid yet delightful tale! (Or would that be "tail"???)

Beautiful decadence. I was your 8. I knocked off a point for the border because it didn't seem to contribute to the sorditity. Great royal colors.

Strange image. I have the feeling this is a digital picture taken of an image on paper. Don't know why.
But I don't see the purpose of this image within the Urban Decay challenge at all...
