thanks a lot for your comment on my urban decay entry, it is really appreciated. i just now realized you ended up right below me. :-D
i really love the subtlty of the decay theme in your entry, but i guess nowadays you just have to serve the dinner on a golden plate to the voter in order to score well, even if the food is a rotten potatoe...

Uninteresting angle.
What about a view from the ground with plant in foreground?

Lighting is really harsh. If your subject is the plant life then perhaps focusing on that would be better.

This is okay, but doesn't really convey a strong message to me.....5

Great idea, but i'd like to see some more detail in the shot, i.e. it would be more interesting if the grass was growing through the stones in front of an old building... then you could shoot that on a really cloudy day to get some nice sky detail in the background with a nice old building as well... and still have the grass growing through some stones in the foreground... as I said, creative idea/title, but needs something more than a sidewalk and a wall to make it really pop

Side border is not very pretty. A non-border might have been better. The crack at the base of the building doesn't give me enough "decay." No vote, I'm in this one.
