"Not the best for the tilt-shift "lool"'

...I have no idea what is being said here. I suppose "lool" is supposed to be "look"? Is there a particular tilt shift look? Yes, the description mentions the whole miniature thing, but that is hardly the limit of a tilt shift optic. And what would be the "best" for the tilt shift "look"? A city from above?

People really need to stop confining themselves so much to what would be "best" and certain "looks".

I have no idea why I torture myself by entering challenges.

"Tilt-shift photography refers to the use of camera movements, and sometimes specifically refers to the use of tilt for selective focus, often for simulating a miniature scene. Use this technique while shooting and processing your entry this week"

...see, it's the "sometimes" that has apparently messed me up. If this was to a be a faux tilt/shift mini challenge, It should have been titled thus. When the description referred to "this technique" I thought it was talking about selective focus. Honestly, there is more to tilt shift than just making minis.

Great job, I love the fact that you challenged the popular presentation of this technique.

Where did you get the idea that this was minature challenge? This was tilt/shift challenge...minatures are just tilt/shift's tacky little cousin. You know, the one that comes to visit, helps himself to all your food and leaves you the mess to clean up.

I seriously hope that you didn't vote this as a minatures challenge!!!

I liek the unique subject matter you chose. Not the best for the tilt-shift "lool"...however, it has a sort of sweetness to it.
