I took the picture in my garage, using my improvised "light box". In essence, a black cloth for the backdrop and table cloth, a Creative Memories Project Tote with a yard of polka dot cloth fan folded in it. The "bug" is a banana painted white, and dusted with blue on one side and orange on the other, and the "wings" made of iridescent pipe cleaners. It is "flying" via a thread tied around its stem, and the bottom end caught in a fold of the tote. A bit on the bizarre side, but what do you want after a holiday weekend?

For the curious, the purse is just a polka dotted purse, with some polka dotted cloth in it. The object that only Yo_Spiff guessed is indeed a banana (NOT battery powered), painted white, "wings" made from pipe cleaners inserted on either side, and highlighted in orange on one side and blue on the other. I suspended it from a thread, and caught the bottom of the banana in the purse so it would stay in the desired position. Top of the shot was a bit dark to hide the thread, and yes, I used the on-camera flash (at least part of it - held my hand in front of part of it).
Guess that score will teach me to be creative!

Well, there's polka dots and plenty of color and it's pretty sharp... but I'm not sure I understand what's going on in the image. Also, the light seems uneven, like on-camera flash.

for me there isn't enough of the Polka Dots in this shot...and your humor is totally missing me...I don't get it...I think there is a message here...but...ah no...I don't get it at all...
