Just goes to show how fickle voters can be even with G**gle at their fingertips...
I didn't think it was worth 10 for DPC but not 1,2,3,4 or 5 either!
Zur Farbenlehre contains some of the earliest and most accurate descriptions of phenomena such as coloured shadows, refraction, and chromatic aberration.
Keep up the good and thought provoking work. |

I won't say I understand it (I Googled, too) and I'm sorry it didn't do well in the challenge. I *will* say that I think it's a marvelous image that I drooled over while it was in voting. With those wonderful colors & great sense of movement, it would look fabulous printed large. |

Well, the "utterly outstanding, presumably doomed" comment makes up for it. lol |

3 favorites now. I was sure I added it to my list during voting. I loved Bear_Music's comment: "Utterly outstanding, presumably doomed,". I really thought this would make it to the top. |

Had a slight suspicion this might be posthumous's. And I guess it sort of is. Historically funny. |

Thanks. I was pleased with it, but I didn't expect it to score well. I am quite astounded by how well it was received by some, though.
eta: The only thing that would have made this better is if I had placed 69/69.

I give you a sentimental blue ribbon for making something so beautiful and well-balanced. A gift for the eyes.

Huh, wha? Never heard of the book, but farben is color. As someone who is in the printer business, I can attest that color management is certainly a science. At the same time, it is also a black art. Cool abstract, whatever it really is. |

This made little sense to me until I googled 'Zur Farbenlehre'. Cool concept. 7 |

The colours and chaotic organised movement in this are truly beautiful. |

On one hand, it is a great abstract but on the other it seems like too much a stretch for this challenge.... 6 |

I had to google the name! Abstract and I am guessing you are getting hammered as well for that. I find this an interesting play of colors!

Nice abstract and well researched title. I love the colours allthough not fond of pinks. Oranges, mauve and purples are really pleasant. Sehr gut! :P |

I doubt many people will know who Goethe is or what he did. Not 100% certain what this has to do with splitting a beam of light into the colour spectrum though. I will give you the benefit of the doubt though. |

Great colors, but a bit too abstract for me. Would make great texture or wallpaper. No vote. |
