 another of my daughters, em this time.

darn basic editing. i would have done a bit of dodge and burn to bring out her eye a bit and to make the baseboard less obvious. hopefully it doesn't distract too much from the overall image. i'm also worried that i'll get comments about the minor noise in the shadows but i think it works here...so nanner nanner. :P

okay, here's what i did:
rotate, layer, levels, usm, curves, brightness/contrast, crop and resized for web.

someone mentioned the "caught" in the title. semantics, huh? whatcha gonna do? i meant "caught" as in a photo "capture". it's just the way i think and not a reflection of any intent to put one over on the voters (as if i'd just stumbled on this cutie or something).

IMO I think I would have tightened the crop on this to just her head, hands and less wall on each side...to me...that would have really bumped this up

not sure title helps here - she is hardly "caught" as it is obviously staged. excellent technically. sorry to jump on the title, but it gets in the way of evaluation, imo.
