Our stable's farrier, George, was here Saturday morning to reset some shoes on several of the horses. I liked the color of his rag over the back of his shiny navy blue truck. The new horseshoes told the story of his occupation. I used various settings on the camera, as I'm still experimenting and learning how to use the Drebel. This was taken with the "landscape" setting. Lens at 28 mm with no flash.

Interesting shot, I don't feel that the focus is on the truck though. I'd like to see some shots of the horseshoer at work though, that'd be cool.

Several distracting elements in this shot. I think the idea is ok (with the title it makes it more interesting than say an ordinary pickup truck), but I feel the composition could be improved.

The title seems to be a description, not a title? Very good shot. I would have manipulated that flag in the reflected background to give it a little Americana kick. Doesn't really scream Plane, Trane or Automobile though.

Farrier or a Blacksmith. Hard work. I think the composition is a bit weak but the focus is good.
