 So 35 giant steps toward the parking lot. Six steps to the left. Turn 90 degrees and 6 more steps. It placed me in front of this beautiful blooming bush. Yay!

I took several photos with Lensbaby. Probably this will be ripped to shreds because the focus is not on the OBVIOUS, which is the bee. However, I wanted to focus on the little dudes reaching out from the flower, which is what I did. Me, I love this image - it represents how I feel at the moment - emerging from the fog and blur which was brought into my life through grief.

Post Challenge - I am so honored to have received the PH red. I created this image five days after my beloved Cosima died and five days before my darling Phoenix left me as well.

Beautiful shot. I love the blur and colours. Was in my top few for the challenge. Fantastic moving title as well.

This is a staggering work of hearbreaking genius. It is a perverse piece of weirdness masquerading as a DPC photo. If my parents gave me this speech when I was a boy, I would have run away from home. Posthumous Red Ribbon for you.

Awesome focus and coloring. With some more luck the bee would be in the same plane as the anther and filament, and in focus.

Pretty colors, and like the shallow DOF. I wonder how this image would be with the focus on the bee instead of the stamen? Either way you did a good job.
