Ah, you got slammed by the voters who only expected to see reflection as symmetry. Repetition is, mathematically, just as valid (referred to as translation). Anyway, great pic & I gave you a shout out in this thread:

The sneakers portion of the photo is cool but the person in the background is fighting for my attention. Don't see very much symmetry.

You may have received DNMC's but your entry fits the spirit and 1st looser definition of the word symmetry perfectly. I would have like to see more def on the darker coloured sneakers however.

This is a very good example of using rhythm or leading lines to compose your photo. It is not such a good example of symmetry in composing your photo. There is really nothing symmetrical. Great photo though, the line of the feet leads you to the center of the photo where there is a person doing something. Also the exposrue is very well done. Perfect!
