 Thank you so much for comments and votes. I wasn't really going to submit this one since it looked rather boring and drab as shot. I did however shoot it with exposure bracketing. So when I photomatixed it together and edited the color balance in layers to bring out the fall colors it eventually started to look ok.
I am VERY pleased with the placing in the challenge!

lovely transition of colors from fall at the front to almost winter far back.The horizon seems to be slightly tilted, or it is only an optical illusion or my imagination? Congrats on your top 5!
