I know I'm going to get hammered because DPCers never like photographs of sculptures. This pains me, because I am first a sculptor and second a photographer.

This is one of many of my sculptures in our yard. I will admit, I needed to take VERY BIG STEPS from our back door to get close enough to her. I also needed to do some strategic cropping to eliminate neighbors houses and fences.

would have cut on the background it to distracting! take away from the art work. great sculpture

love who the trees in the back ground almost mimic the statue, what happened to the other foot?

Interesting image. Glad it is within walking distance of where you live.
I am disconcerted by the missing foot, but still a nice find.

PS I don't know how that garbled message that I just erased got in there, but thought you would prefer this one...

Why would you cut off the left foot? Sorry but it is a distractant to me so I had to ask. Kinda cool how the right arm follow the same shape and angle of the tree branch in the background.
