 47 steps? yes... However, the big bug came from Malaysa and has been in a glass case for the last 4 years. I could not find anything I wanted to shoot without some setup. I wanted to show the scale of this enormous insect but was coming up empty until I started post processing and saw the tiny fly on the horn. It is barely recognizable so, as cheesy as it is, I decided to use the title to draw attention to it.

great title. i like the crop alot in this one and the sharpness of the beetle. i feel like the background is a little too busy for the very angular and textured subject.
