I like this shot, and gave it a good score, but I agree with Jim -- I'd like to see it brightened up a bit. Soft focus doesn't bother me a bit (probably my age), and I think it's appropriate for this subject, which isn't sharp in nature.

Like the idea here and think the tilt would have added something but it's too dark on my monitor and the focus seems to be a bit off.
