| At first I though- Cape Cod?- but then, the exotic nature came through. The subtle horizon is done very well; the trees in the shot create the feel the swamp, the cool air, the ultramarine bleeds into cerulean, then to cobalt in the foreground- I wonder if photogs intentionally go for the blues in the skies they shoot, whether it is a subconsciously done or not- this is great. and finally the lighting on the right side provides a warmth and gives context- I love when emphasis is derived through warmth of the color values rather than pure light and dark and foreground focus issues. |
