 Photographer’s Notes
I really dislike winding up on the last day of the month with nothing to enter I nthe Free Study, especially because the Free Study Marathon punishes null entries severely. But here I am, on the last day of the month with nothing in the camera I like.
So off I go this morning to reshoot something with promise. And while there I’m strolling around on a gorgeous Fall morning and all kinds of pictures present themselves to me. I have a Free Study entry, possibly a Foliage entry and maybe an entry for Tilt II.
This is a three-story fountain with some of Dale Chihuly’s dancing glass snakes. It’s located in Bellevue, Washington, USA in a shopping/entertainment/condo complex across from the largest Mall in the state.
Each time I go by here, I have wanted to stop and photograph it. One more item, now off my must-shoot-sometime-real-soon list.

I had a hunch this was your shot. I like it and thought it would score a bit better, maybe 6.2 or 6.3. Must be a new lens and the right choice here, I love the curvature it created.

I love wideangle, but I'm not usually a fan of fisheye. It was a good choice for this scene, however.
