It was a day like most others. The sun shone, the clouds wafted through the sky, the wind was susurrant among the trees.
People awoke that day, and did what people do. They went to their jobs, they tended their fields, the children began to play.
Yet without warning, and with screams of horror that circled the globe, it all came crashing to a deadly halt, though because of the nature of the event, indeed, there really was no crashing at all. In a matter of seconds, humanity went from going through life as they always have, to suddenly being thrust off the earth, and sent hurtling into the skies, as gravity ceased to be. |
