Hi wkdesigns! I thought I'd comment on yours since you were so generous about mine & you also thought yours should have done better. I completely agree with you - a 4.9 seems very very rough for this image. I think you suffered from the 2 second voting pattern here - that's probably what most voters spend on an image.

I also considered a panning motion shot for this challenge, but then realized that the voters would probably expect to see the subject blurred. That's completely unfair, as your camera is obviously moving more than most, but you can see from your comments that at least one person thought it was stop-motion rather than movement, and I suspect that view represents a fair number of your 1-4's.

It took me more than a second to realize that you have a really unique perspective here - we don't often see aircraft from the side. You were either in another plane, or standing in a tower of some sort? I think it gives the image a wonderful sense of movement. I gave the image a 6, and looking at it again realize I probably should have given it a 7.

Well, panning is certainly camera movement!

Panning and camera movement is good, but the subject is boring as hell and your sensor needs cleaning.

I like the motion, but where is the dust/spray (I was expecting it from the title)?

This seems to be more of a stop motion photo than camera motion.
