Challenge: Three Techniques (Advanced Editing VII)

OK, used my 30d again, wide angle lens, and a Cokin graduated filter which allowed me to shoot straight into the sun, but still capture some detail in close range.
Minimal editting, as usual taken into Aperture then exported as 16bit TIF into CS4, adjustment layers added for curves, exposure, burning/dodging, and saturation. Resized and then sharpened (can never decide if sharpening before or after re-sizing is best, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't....).
Was at 7.25 with 10 votes, now at 6.55 with 55 votes. |

| nice shot, good use of the techniques. I would have cropped it down a bit more to remove lens hood or tall filter in the corners. Plus clone out sensor dust in the sky. easy fixes though. |
