Thanks to my mom for pointing out the title was not in alphabetical order. That would certainly ding me some points with some voters.

i actually love the overexposure of the right side, it's what gives the shot a creative edge in my opinion; somehow i feel it's exactly how you wanted it to look, too

A bit over exposure. An fstop less of exposure would have rendered some nice skin tone and less "burnout" of the white dress.

Really interesting composition and lighting of a familiar face.

Like the portrait overall, just a bit too much blown out on her right side for my taste.

shame her right shoulder shows no detail at all. Such a beautiful girl with a great expressive face...

Beautiful. The composition, lighting and post edit fits the girl's expression and looks very well. One of my favourites in the challenge.
Upgraded from 9 top 10 on second go around

Finally someone understands the concept of Hi-Key and Low-Key. The three images before this one had it all backwards!

She's beautiful, Tim. And growing up so quickly right here on my monitor.

You and Rowan do High Key very well together. (not voting)

I love the hair and skin. I think you did a great job capturing the portrait. Can't tell whethere I like the edit on the eyes or not, there is just something slightly bothering me about her left eye (my right). My only real problem with the fold is the complete lose of detail on her shoulder. It looks like half her body is missing.

Wow, Rowan is really growing up. Another great portrait. You'll have to buy a bigger house with more wall space for your shots :)

a bit too much blown on left side for my taste, other than that great portrait. ribboner, if you asked me

Lovely portrait, though the disappearing shoulder detracts for me, and is evocative more of "blown" than "high key" in my view. Otherwise beautifully executed. 8

I love her expression. Almost like one of the Victorian ones, where no one smiled. Great focus on her eyes. I like how the left part of her shirt disappears into the white background.

nice portrait, although the blown out left shoulder is very distracting
