Last minute desperation!

Ok, so I had this great idea to get 3 pictures of a cookie falling into milk...1 of the cookie above the milk, 1 as it slashes into the milk and 1 of the milk "consuming" the cookie. It turns out it is a lot harder to capture this than I thought. You pretty much get 1 shot per cookie before it gets soaked and after a few cookies splash into the milk you have to replace the milk due to the little cookie crumbs. To make a long story short, I ran out of cookies. If I had to plan this out again I would have bought more cookies for sure. This was the only good shot I got out of the whole batch. My timing was TERRIBLE! I don't think this will do to well because it isn't made up of 3 photos...not that it has to be, but one's that are typically do better in a "Triptych" challenge.

also...I wish I could clone out the crack and cookie crumbs

P.S. I'm sure I'll get some crap for using a generic Oreo Cookie too!! What can I say...I'm cheap!

Prediction...low 6's (if I'm lucky)

Awwww...to bad!

They said I used a selection tool but I honestly don't remember doing this. To make the border in the middle I just used the line tool and erased the border where I didn't want it. Oh well, next time!

A cool shot and well done photo.

But on one thing you said in your photo comments.

Using an eraser is a selection tool.

Haha!!! I love it!! When I was about to submit this I was also thinking it looked like "jail bars"

You should still buy more cookies. Real Oreos this time. :)

Bad luck, I never realised that's what you used...still a clever photo.

Very clever shot.

"Ok" photo by itself (bit tired of splashy stuff), but doesn't feel like a Triptych. Seems more like a regular photo with just lines/frames put over it.

this has been done before, multiple times. I dont care for how you divided the frames up. You're almost cutting the motion off with the black lines, I feel like I cant see the whole picture.

I have no idea how you did this but it looks awesome. And yummy. :) I'm not sure how well it really works as a triptych though.

Great picture, but DNMC IMO. I think that this is just one picture

while it's clever, it doesn't appeal to me in the slightest

Fascinating image! I hope the border is legal... it adds so much. (Not voting)

Technically impressive and a well orchestrated shot. The choc Oreo (?) is also detailed and that makes it much more difficult to get white cup/milk and dark biscuit exposed right with enough detail. Milk splashes are perfect, hooray for fast FPS camera's! I hope you did this in M mode and not A mode as I'd like to know how it was done! The framing is incredibly original and unusual. A masterpiece for Basic Editing. Hardwork has it's rewards...

Interesting idea with the lines I am just not sure it works for me.

very crisp shot. interesting framing.

Very interesting and original. It took me a minute to figure out what̢۪s happening here. 10

no only do i think this has been done before, but its not very appealing to the eye with the separations, imo

wondering about the legality of the border here. voting as if legal and crossing my fingers for ya. :)
