After the 1st 20 or so votes , the score was at 5.5+. Now after 125 votes , the score is about 6.48 , so you can tell that I am esctatic.
When I did this , I realize that it will be compared to Irene's (which I truly believe , I still have some way to go) and the shot would be at the mercy of those who are sick of seeing more water droplets. So if this stays at this level I will be happy as hell.

After 139 votes , climbed to a 6.6 , wow !! Of course I know that the natural thing in DPC would be to drop from this high , still it is a nice boost.

After 257 votes , still at a 6.67+ , what can I say... but happy as hell. I really thought this shot would do mediocre because of the much dreaded water droplet/splash thing (wonder why ?)

Thanks for all the votes. Nice to finish in this position with a not too popular theme.

Thanks Andrew....28Oct2009

I think it is brilliant set of images and I̢۪m not comparing them to anyone. Someone who ever tried to do something like that would appreciate it. Congrats with the top ten finish.

Beautiful shot, Andrew. Great clarity. I know how hard it is to get good water drop images. Your patience certainly paid off. Many congrats on top 10 ((Hugs)).

Good timing. Don't know how many attempts it took to get this right. But great results.

well captured, pleasing color scheme and tones. a tad oversharpened, though - you should have added the bordes after sharpening and resizing
