 Last minute changed to this white tiger reflection shot. Originally I had submitted which I thought was a pretty good Flamingo shot.
I decided to change to this shot on the 30th as I felt that a flamingo portrait may not have sufficient impact , it looks technically ok , but insufficient wow.

For this shot , not too much wow either , but I love the reflection. This is the 1st time that I managed to get an almost perfect reflection. I love the reflection !! hope you all do to.

17 hours before roll over and I have changed from the flamingo to the white tiger and now to the Mandrill !!!! Yikes
You can imagine how paranoid about my submission for a FS. This shot hopefully has more wow factor and hopefully they do not feel that this is over processed.
Tough shot due to the lighting conditions and the distance of the animal. Used ISO1600 to get a more practical shutter speed as I was shooting hand-held at 400mm with VR on.

i think you made a great choice altho i havent seen the ones you rejected ... its an amazing animal .. so colourful and interesting and its a brilliant shot .. i love your processing .. a definite WOW ..!!..:)
