| considering your type of camera which is not your strong side you should try taking photos on sunny days with the highest resolution 6mp, and when sending then try to edit in some program and make the resolution 640x480. Try Gimp it's free. I'm not sure that you can achive a good handheld night shot with this type of camera. I hope you will not give up easily and you'll keep psoting photos. Good luck and still congrats on the brown ribbon |

| Well, congratulations on your first ribbon. Ok, it's the brown, but there is some (debatable) value to it, believe it or not. (My own brownie is one of my personal faves.) Nowhere to go but up, right? |

| a little small.....It would be more dynamic if you went to the full 640 pixel. Sorry not enough detail to give a really good score.... |

Just on the off chance that nobody else has left an explanatory comment to accompany their low vote, I will. Hope this helps.
-The image is pretty soft, could use sharpening.
-Colors are washed out, some levels and curves adjustments could help that.
-There is an afterimage that looks like a partial reflection, but it is not obvious enough for me to take it as an intentional part of the composition.
-You should use the entire 640 pixels available on at least one side. You get maximum detail into the image that way.
-Watch the JPEG compression as well, you have up to 150k to use and the less compression you use the clearer your image will be. |
