Hey there... taking a 10 minute stop to check e-mail at the library in Macksville on Gwyneth's and my long drive down the new South Wales coast...and what do I find, something to remind me of home (not that I need anything to do that). DPC announcement led me (indirectly) to this. Lovely photo, glad you are enjoying the grasses. Miss you!

I like the highlights and golden colors in this little scene. I also like that you were able to keep some tone and detail in the shaded sides of the stems. For subjects that make good close up shooting, I like wide angle perspective too.

Pampas grass? There's a lot of it Japan, where it's called susuki.
