Is this a moth? I can't be real sure. Would have liked color in this one unless it is a white moth. Appears it might be a yellow one. I could be wrong. Still a good shot. I like the crop. A good 6 for it. PTL

Nice focus. This shot seems as if it would work better 180 degrees. I find myself trying to turn my head upside down to see it and that isn't very comfortable. DPz

hm. you got me puzzled here. why rotated?
challenge -- met
technical -- good focus on wing, overall nice tonal variety, even though i'd like to see some real white.
composition -- why on its side? i'm assuming this is a bug/moth/kind of thing. is it artificial? the head can't really be made out, and that would make a difference, i think, to see it.

Oh my gosh! What is that? Looks like a dog with moth wings and rat feet. I had to turn my head to look at it but I guess this is the reality of the shot. joanns

Great detail and lighting. If the photo had been landscape, it would have resembled a jet ready for takeoff.
