| Oh my... I LOVE this picture. Everything - composition (placing the subject in the strongest point of the picture), colors, light (!!!) and detail. Magnificent sky... Excellent idea which very well conveys the challenge theme. I wish advanced editing rules applied here - you could clone out the stakes (at least remove this red spot on one of them). I hope it will do well in this challenge. Bumping up to 10. |

| I'm not sure why I'm not rating this higher. I like the composition, the lighting is great, and the colors are beautiful. There's something that i can't quite put my finger on that's nagging me about this picture. Is it the focus? I can't put my finger on it. I still like the photo. 6 |

| The road sweeping past and away, the overgrown derelict structure, impending doom in the clouds, all lends itself to a movielike quality, now we need a hero to come find the treasure. I've revisted this photo and bumped up another point. |

| Not sure if you could have recomposed and kept the buldings and vanishing trail, but those markers in the lower right could standto come out of the photo (imho). |

| This looks like an abandoned artillery battery (similar to the ones at Ft Stevens (near Astoria, OR). Pretty cool pic. The PP really makes the sky dramatic and the colors stands out. |

| If this is basic editing, then it is an amazing shot. I would swear it was HDR based on the detail of the clouds alone! |
