As if a veil had been torn away and for a moment we see the sheer vulnerability of feeling. Sketchy nature suits.

Ahh Julianne - is he doing ok? I know there was a rough patch at one point. Hope he is well.

Love the lighting and his gaze. The eyes really stand out and catch my attention. A soulful and serious capture. Great job :)

I am completely confused as to why this scored so low. It makes no sense why you would get so many 1s - 3s. It's crazy... this is a great shot. Even if it's a tiny bit blurry, it has SO much in it's favor, including clearly meeting challenge.

I always love seeing pictures of your hubby - he's such a distinguished gentleman! Low light suits his silver hair, too. Don't be afraid to crank the ISO and hit a bit higher shutter - grain won't be bad and in fact will suit this.

I've gone back and forth with this image. At first I was put off by the softness, but I'm not sure anything's lost by it. It's posed quite naturally and the lighting is good. One of my top picks.
