 A series of 12 photos @11mm covering 360 degrees were stitched together and then a little photoshop work to convert into a planet using this tutorial

Total work including merging the panorama was less than 5 minutes!

Yeah, I agree .... I was so excited about producing the planet that I didn't do any other editing!! I've updated the image to give a little more vibrancy :)

Woa! Really great shot! I don't have any idea how you did it, but i'm willing to learn! The "planet" is great. I wish the grass were more brighter and the green of it were more saturated.
