Meets Challenge: 3 of 3. I could stand a little less "full coverage" light, and more spot lighting, but I know this isn't a studio, so it's fine.
Technical: 2 of 3. I'd suggest a tighter crop, maybe? That phone booth isn't really doing anything for the shot, so maybe just bumping the left edge in until it's gone? Otherwise, pretty good.
Emotion: 3 of 3. A dark street corner, a guy with a cigarette leaning against the corner of a building looking for someone... does it get any more dramatic than that? Very nice.

| This would have been perfect with the left side cropped in half way between the subject and the phonebooth. Basically leaving the subject in the left 1/3 of the photo. |
