Upper North Falls-Silver Falls State Park, I like the composition. I'm guessing you were quite a bit to the left side of the falls in front of the logs. I think this is my favorite falls in the park for taking photos. Interesting processing in toning down/muting the colors but I still like it. Nice job. |

Lovely photo. I wish it were a bit larger, but that's not your fault. Did you desaturate this a bit? I'm not sure if I like it that way or not. It caught my eye, but I always love to see greens pop in waterfall pics. I still give it a solid 7. |

DMC. Little yellow OOF box bottom middle looks like pollution/rubbish, or is it treasure within the treasure of the falls? Shot looks a wee bit off horizontal to me. Otherwise a difficult photo to take under low light conditions, handheld. |

Nice scene, tightly composed, and perfect exposure for the silky fall and to preserve detail below the surface. Like the processing and the treatment. Gave you a 6. In another challenge it would have been a 7 or higher. Here, however, its just not a tight enough tie to the topic to score there. I understand the concept of a pretty place being a hidden treasure, but just don't think that's strong enough to put shots like this in the top ranks. (fwiw I looked really hard at the spot of gold under the surface to see if maybe that was your treasure, but all I got was a blur that looks like maybe a fallen leaf). |
