| Has a bit of vignetting that you might get DQ'd for under basic editing rules. Unless it was shot that way. Aside from pointing that out, I like this simple composition. |

| This will easily be one of my top picks. The midnight blue tones and grain and vignette are all perfect. The sailboat is placed smartly in the frame -- the position, size and angle are just right. Nicely composed and executed. |

Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Not so much low key, to me, as just a dark shot with a white boat in it. To me, low key is about how the darkness is augmented by the few highlights to describe the form of your subject. That's not this.
Technical: 2 of 3. A decent shot. It's a little grainy. That might just be because of the resize and jpg, though.
Emotion: 2 of 3.

| I would crop off the top 1/3 of the photo, and bring the contrast down a hair. |
