You've filled the frame with contrasting, bright colours, superb! A little more space needed at the bottom of the picture so as not to cut the little critters leg off, otherwise nice and sharp and a good job! |

Very good job capturing this...this....um...what is it? Anyway it really is good even if I can't identify it. That's quite a straw he has. I wish I captured this image. Congrats! Good luck in the challenge. Grayce :-) |

I notice we are getting more moths than butterflies this time of year. Still a good shot. Would have been better from top side and behind him. That would have added 2 more points for me. His wings are a little out of focus but like that tongue down in the flower. That adds 2 back. Still comes out a good 7. PTL |

Very nice! This type butterfly is usually very nervous. (I can never get them to sit still enough to shoot them!!!) Very good clarity! Score upgrade! 10 Swash |

I have mixed emotions about this picture. The focus and framing are very good. The one thing that sticks in my mind is about how the butterfly is turned so that the wings are not so visible. I thought it was a bee at first. A little better angle to illustrate the wings a little more would've really helped the shot showing more color, clarifying the subject and maybe help the shallow DOF to bring the subject more into focus. Just what I think though - Inspzil |
