 A dying rose getting one last hurrah, lol. I wanted to learn new things, and this is yet another first attempt from me. It may do horribly, but after ALL the things I tried, learned quite a bit about my camera, and after editing many others, this one just stuck with me.
Edits, desat, unsharp, crop, resize, bright/contrast, usm and sfw.

Technical: 2 of 3. Maybe a slightly tighter crop? And maybe sharper focus?
Emotion: 1 of 3. Eh... I'd like some more... I dunno... There's nothing pulling me into the image, keeping me interested.
