 This is Coco, a toy poodle. A dog rescued in August from a bad home. In this side challenge I hope to learn to photograph this little dog, & to document the changes in her appearance as her coat grows back in. Already she knows "bring the ball" and "get back." As her sense of smell recovers, she is more & more interestedin going for a walk. Just lately she has started tearing around the house at high speed, ears flying, big smile on her face. She still wants to attack the cat but I'm working with her on impulse control. She's only 3, the cat is close to 20. Cat portrait is next.

What expressive eyes! Sweet, dear little thing! How could anyone be mean to her!
I had a black male poodle named Coco that was also rescued from an abusive idiot. Coco only loved me, no one else! I was very attached to him as he was to me. Poodles are so smart and wonderful companions. They seem to understand so much!

a sad and happy story .!! .. sad coz of where she's been .. happy coz of where she is now .. its great to hear of a dog being rescued from a bad home and finding security and love .. no-one deserves to be ill treated, animal or human .. coco is one lucky dog and cute too .. its a great shot .. :)
