 Apologies for the lame title. And for not being truly lines, but shapes... oh well.

Went out back to either shoot or cut this weird twisty-stemmed plant I'd stuck there earlier in the year. It has since died, but it did live long enough this summer to put out really twisty leaves. Decided I liked the backyard bokeh through the bush behind the plant so left it there and shot it where it stood. Eventually I do need to pull the thing up and throw it away, but it was such a good model I'll leave it there a bit longer.

Post challenge - at least it is memorialized in mediocrity. I pulled it up and threw it away today. The actual plant, not the digits.

I actually like your image better than mine. i was hoping for better light, but I didn't have a chance to reshoot or re-step ;-)

This is a fun find and nicely captured. May have been able to simplify this and only include a couple of the twisted leaves and picked up more detail and impact. Just a thought. Either way, good luck!
