BTW, to all those who commented on the de-saturation... the dog is black and white... there was just a little bit of desat done for some brown tint in the image. So, all in all, there is very little desat that was done. |

This was among my favourites and my guess is that you got slaughtered by the anti-dog crew. Excellent work as usual Danny. My gosh, look at all those nasty 1`s, 2`s and 3`s and 4`s. Well, you know you shoot better than most of us and I know you`re bigger than to let this affect you. Keep em coming and keep wowing us. |

People here have a hard time understanding the creative mind. This shot is so cool! One of my favorite pet shots of all times. The composition is awesome and the desat. works very well.
Hey folks, lets work on using your imagination. |

Good idea. Dogs rule! Nice contrast with the tongue and i like the softness of the rest. I wouldn't leave the pink spots on the dog's lips. (9) |

I am hoping everyone else enjoys this as much as I do. The pink tongue makes it for me. |

I've seen more than a dozen animal "waiting" pictures and they are all very boring, and have no true sense of "waiting." This, however, is the best so far. Good job on the tight crop. |

I do not see the point of your selective desaturation here.
