Didn't find it subtle; pensive perhaps. Thought it was awkward to have the face in profile and the body quartered towards us.

I like the choice of b&w here. The highlights add mood... somehow he looks a little unhuman... almost like a doll...

interesting. Good. Head and face looks a bit unreal, which is fine but not the effect is not quite in keeping with the body.

Interesting composition, the hair almost gives the looks of a crown on a Roman Senator. Nice.

I like the pose, the lighting, (a touch dark), and the emotion, but then I reach that hair, and it makes me cringe.
