Really conveys the anticipation of waiting. I particularly like the way the cheek and the shadow recapitulate the expanded balloon and the way the bricks show through the balloon,and in the balloon's shadow.

Unique idea. I like that it's black and white. I think that the balloon should be plain without the lettering. Nice facial expression. (8)
